What a fantastic day! We were so pleased to have such a good turn out even in the pouring rain. With summer fete games for the children, live music, apple pressing and harvest to watch it was a wonderful day for the whole family. We were delighted to welcome Gerry Edward, the local apple expert along to identify your apples. He seemed didn't have time to blink between apple varieties and documented his highest number of individual identifications in one day here with us.

• Over 4,000kg of fruit donated
• 127 Apples identified 
• Over 150 pints served
• 47 charity suggestions
• Over 120 burgers/hot dogs served
• 96 different apple drops

The fruit has now been pressed and is busy maturing in our stills. It should be ready to be served to you around easter time. This will be our People's Choice Cider and we will be donating any profits from the sale of the cider to our chosen charity- This year it is the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
